how do i edit my website...?

ok i feel really retarded. i dont no how to edit my website, this is something that should be really easy and i cant find it. can somebody help mee? idk where to gooo.....:dunno:

ummm. idk its for a science fair project and i have everything i want to put on it in microsoft word, but i dont no how to get it onto the site i made

word isn't the best way to do it...
but save the word doc as html...
place the html files in the public_html directory either via ftp or cPanel file manager...

where is the public_html direcroty and ftp/cPanel?

well, if you do it by WordPad is better than word i think.

Just when you save your document, save it as document_name.html
Then go to index--->execute--->ftp.nameofyourweb.subdomain.com

Then it says you dont have permission, just click with the right button of your mouse on the white zone and click login in as

Then you just surf into the public_html folder and copy from windows and paste there.

wordpad doesn't support dynamic html creation... in word you can create tables and do all kinds of stuff you won't be able to do in wordpad without actually writing html... just goto file save as... and in the bottom where it says word document change the file type to html website then save...

once saved login to cPanel (in the e-mail you recieved stating your account was created there is a link) login and goto the file manager and upload from there to the public_html directory
