how do i get a hosting account

Hi all,
my first day here. Greetings!

As you can see I have logged in successfully. But despite a lot of searching, I am not able to find how to start using my free hosting.
I've got all the ad texts on my local computer.
But I simply cannot access any kind of control panel. The HTTP authorization does not allow me in even if I type in the same username and password that I used to login to post this message.

So, which step am I missing?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

A)For a FREE plan go to http://www.x10hosting.com/hosting?type=free
B)For a PAID plan go to http://www.x10hosting.com/hosting?type=paid
Then select the plan you want, and follow the steps. You then have to fill in the form. It will ask you for your forum user too. You'll then have to click the confirmation url that is sent to the email you register.
Then you just have to wait till your account is created. You've to wait for around 1 or 2 weeks, as accounts are currently being created manually.

As far as I know currently sign-ups are down due to stress on the servers. Please check the news and announcement threads.
