How do I make sure of writable permissions?

Hi. How do I make sure the script directory has writable permissions (chmod 777) during the installation process?
Edit:
I've just answered my own question - there is a change permissions button on the right hand side of the File Manager page.

Most of scripts don't require 777 permissions. Anyhow, you have got the answer. Kindly close this thread dude.

Hi. What do you mean by 'close this thread', and how do I do it?

I was going to donate some credits, but the blue button in your reply doesn't seem to be a link, and I can't find the same button anywhere else on the page.

Can you help me with my other thread More help re creating folders please ?
