how do i reset my www folder?

I accidentally deleted the www folder under the root. i recreated the folder but I'm not able to process my files. myPgAdmin needs to be recompiled.
How do I fix this?
Better I what to reset my domain,

www is only a mirror of public_html. public_html is where you upload files, install software, and edit your files. Look in public_html directory and see if everything you need is there. If not, just put everything there.
