how do i upgrade my php to advanced if x10 hosting won't let me

You need to give them a VERY good reason why you need it. They'll only give you advanced php if you really need it for your site to work (can't do without it) and if they can tell you know what you're doing. If you just downloaded some script or whatever and it now won't work, I don't think you'll get the upgrade.

Why do you need PHP v3? Have you tried using PHP v2 yet and your scripts still don't work?
