How do you design forum templates?

Ok so I now no the basics of designing site layouts, so im moving on to forum layouts. What do i need to know and what do I need to do to make a forum template?

Hmm...what forum? ipb, phpbb? vbull?

all forums have diffrent trype of skin system so you have to get the forums and learn from it

Best place to start is to find a template you like and start editing it. Go in and get in the down and dirty HTML and CSS. Eventually, you'll learn what parts of the template affect what areas of the site.

BTW, are we going to get to see any of these "templates" in non-image format? Like, have you actually coded any of the "templates" you have made. When someone shows me a template for something, it is always functional. You should think about adapting some of your work to fit CMS and blogging software.
