How good is x10hosting?

I'm using x10hosting and 000webhost for the same purpose right now.. I want your opinions what is better? this host or the other?

I too have heard interesting things about 000webhost, but I'll be blunt on this one - bad customer service goes further than good. More than likely there's nothing /wrong/ with the other host, but just like there's lots of bad reviews for x10hosting (a good number of which I've looked at further and identified as users upset we wouldn't let them host porn, shells, or illegal material), I'm sure a good chunk of the ones I'm seeing for 000webhost are also from users upset that they weren't allowed to do something against the site's Terms and got busted.

That having been said, there's one other thing to note: you're asking for an opinion on which is better, on one of the host's own forums. We're probably going to be quite biased in favor of x10hosting since it's our forums

I moved from 000Webhost to here a while ago. 000 has horrible feedback, and they refuse to apply any software/security updates to PHP, SQL, etc. They constantly try to upsell their customers to paid plans, and if you happen to have a problem with their hosting it will probably take several days to solve. The only upside to 000Webhost is their unlimited subdomains/parked domains, and that's about it. And, x10hosting is just much more polished. 000Webhost's website looks old and outdated, while x10hosting has a good support forum powered by Xenforo, and a nice looking website and cPanel.

Despite the somewhat low restrictions, I think x10hosting is worth it.

x10hosting by far is a superior product! The problem with 000webhosts is that AT&T has blocked all of their ports. So if you were to use their services, about 1/4 of the US population will not be able to access your site.

The uptime on the free x10hosting has also been far better than 000webhosts. But if server downtime will be a problem for you, consider purchasing an account through x10hosting. Keep in mind that with free hosting services, downtime is expected and will happen. Technology WILL fail!!!

I am use to use 000webhosting and they never updated any scripts they had a horrible control panel when I used x10 they were quick to help so you made a good choice on moving if you need any wordpress help I'm always here will be supporting others
