Where can i check how many people have visited my website?

You can choose to signup for Google Analytics from here http://www.google.com/analytics/. This way you can keep track of all the visitors that your site has had.

or you can use a script installed for tracking.
But google analytics is the best choice.But using google analytics some times slows the site.As millions of sites will request the same file from google's server.But the best choice is always google analytics.

You can use AWStats in your cPanel also.

Why is google analytics better then AWStats? If you simply just want to check how many visits your site has would it be easier to just use AWStats?
