I read up that this host doesn't allow file hosting. Fair enough. It's not something I expected. But I was wondering about my exact situation, and if what I'd like to do would be allowed.

I'm looking to create a series of custom user-interfaces for the game World of Warcraft (which is entirely allowed ;)) and I created this account so that I can host a support board for problems and feature requests for these UIs. I'm wondering if I'd be allowed to host the UIs themselves on my account for download. They'd be no more than a couple megs, and would mainly be used for quick minor fixes, whereas I'd use alternate host sites for the major version commits.

Would that be okay? Or can I not host files whatsoever? (And in that case, what's the policy on forum systems which allow attachments?)

As long as you have a site, so you do not use your hosting account for file hosting only, and the files are yours (not copyrighted), it is alright.

It seems ok, because they are addons to game (Knowing that you probably won't provide the game download yourself).

And all forum systems are probably allowed, just add needed ads (if needed)

You need knowledge in coding, and more specifically in Lua 5.1. The game uses XML or Lua for frame (visible element) creation and handling and Lua for script executing, and packages it together with a TOC file.

Read through some stuff on the WoWWiki UI page (starting at the "tutorial" section to the right). And for XML help (altough XML is optional and not recommended), check out Klishu's XML Tutorial over at WorlfofWar.

For more help, you can join the WorldofWar forums, and ask in the UI section. There are plenty of very helpful and knowledgeable members there for UI stuff and general WoW stuff.
