DO any one of you use linux here, I myslef want to try it out. Recently I had doenloaded the kororaa live CD, but I had burn 3 times using nero.

1) Burn as data disc
2) Burn as image disc
3) Burn as audio disc.

The three test fail, anyone of you have the detail instruction to burn it out? It is 698MB large.

Thanks

I am not sure how to burn the "kororaa" if thats how you spell it,
By the english version you download the .iso file from your distro site then you burn to a disk in a image format. Then run it on your pc and allow it to mount the data then click install when it has finished loading.
That should work for you. As this sounds like your trying to use ubuntu.

hmm you should get a black screen before the load up of windows saying boot from disk.
Or your cd is not working amd can not be reconised by the pc.
Try it on another pc if possible.

Burn as image disc. Make sure boot from cdrom is enabled in Bios Setup. Make cdrom primary boot device and hard disk secondary boot device.

I know there's a boot menu in the BIOS (F8 for me). Try pressing "F8".

Firstly check if the cd you burned is working.

Then go through the steps mentioned above to run the live CD.

If you see the windows XP bar - it means that the system did not boot via your CD. So it could mean

1) you did not set the boot up device correctly
2) you did not set the detection of your CD at boot up
3) your liveCD is dead.

1) you did not set the boot up device correctly : Yes, till [press any key to continue], but load Win. XP after few whiles
2) you did not set the detection of your CD at boot up : Not really know what's mean
3) your liveCD is dead. : erm, you mean got download error, or data missing?

2. He means did you set the bios up so that it would boot form the cd-rom drive before the harddrive
3. Your cd is broken, Download errors, Missing Data, Didn't Burn correctly

Yes this would be cheaper. And also burn your disk at a slower speed this may be your problem for bad copies.

You SHOULD NOT see an ISO file inside the disc. You see see a collection of other files but NOT an ISO file. This means you have burned the disc incorrectly or your program doesn't support ISO burning.

Well, there's your problem! You just dragged/dropped into your program, didn't you? Next time try clicking on a "Record from ISO" button on your program, or something like that. Nero will almost definitely support ISO recording. Read through the instruction pages.

As a last-ditch effort, try downloading ISO Recorder from http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm and try using that.
