i'm new...

i have the following error...after succesfully uploaded mybb 1.6.3

i'm not able to install....after sucessfully uploaded...

Error Type:
MyBB Error (41)
Error Message:
Your board has not yet been installed and configured. Please do so before attempting to browse it.
Please contact the MyBB Group for support.

help me how to chmod following files and folders in mybb with screenshot....

inc/config.php - 666
inc/settings.php - 666
uploads/ - 777
uploads/avatars/ - 777
inc/languages/english/ - 777
admin/backups/ - 777

Files must have permissions set to 644 and directories to 755

Otherwise your account will not run, period.

You can use cPanel or Filezilla(FTP) to do that.
Filezilla is a stress free option.
Lets take a look on this video
Though they are not doing them from myBB, its prettymuch the same in your case as well.
