How to connect to FTP client FileZilla

I've been trying to get my ftp setup with x10hosting I'm inputting all the information the connection guide is telling me, but I keep receiving the following errors:

Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

Anyone know the reason for this and how to correct it?

Hi jarodpho,

Please could you confirm that you are connecting to your main elementfx.com domain as your FTP Host, and using jarodpho as your FTP username?

Hi jarodpho,

Sorry, I was unaware you had created an FTP account in your cPanel. The Connection Guide in cPanel should work fine; are you definitely including the second part of the username (@mydomain.com)?

If you're having issues with the FTP user you just created, you might want to try with the FTP account that was automatically created when you signed up. When your hosting account was created, an FTP account was made with it, with the same credentials as your cPanel account (username jaradpho). There's no need to create a new one in your cPanel.
