Hopefully the title wasn't confusing for anyone.

But I opened a web host and deleted all the files from the /home/majorkmu directory. How do I make www.MajorKMusic.x10host.com my main page for my website? instead it makes me use www.MajorKMusic.x10host.com/home/majorkmu/public_html/Home.html (in which I want /home.html to be my main page or just the previous domain from my question.) Is this possible, or did I completely miss something. I use to use webs.com for my hosting but they no longer allow free edit unless u pay. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

You don't need the /home/majorkmu/public_html part; if you rename Home.html to index.html (note the lowercase i, everything is CaSe SeNsAtIvE), it will serve that page by default when you view MajorKMusic.x10host.com. If you have links to the other pages, they will work like normal.

You could also view it via majorkmusic.x10host.com/Home.html

Dear Livewire,

Thank you very much for making me feel like a noob again. haha. its been almost 10 years since ive done hosting and I'm actually going to school for software development. Your solution worked like a champ. To be quite honest I feel so stupid for not having known that off the top of my head. But, thank you. Now I can continue my final.

Don't worry about it; different webservers can be set up differently, and I know at the tech college I went to the defaults were actually Home.html and Home.aspx until one of the guys who actually worked the websites convinced them to set it up the index.html/php way :)

I want to change the index.html file, where is it located? I see an index.php file but not index.html file in cPanel File Manager.
