How to log in w/ FileZilla and how to set DNS Entries

How do I log in using FileZilla? I have done lots of hosting in the past and usually get an account setup email from the host company, but none came from x10.

I tried: username.x10hosting.com as the domain, but that did not work.

Also, how do I set my domain names to x10? I know how to go into godaddy and enter the x10 DNS entries, but how do I tell x10 my Domain?

I just checked the information on your account, and the forum account that you have now isn't the same as your subdomain on x10Hosting.

It shows this as being your domain:

http://southernstar.x10hosting.com

Yes, I know. I cannot log in for ftp with that domain.

In FileZilla, I use:

• domain: ftp.domain
• port: 21
• username: cpanel username
• password: cpanel password

I get: "Connection attempt failed with "EACCES - Permission denied".

make sure caps is not on, or that you are doing a typo. If that doesn't work, create a user in cPanel and use that user's info.
