I have joomla installed on my page (http://prva.x10hosting.com), so it's in the root directory. But I would like to use it with subdomain (dunno, for example "zavod.prva.x10hosting.com") - so I need to move it into another folder, with all settings kept and same database in use. Is it possible to do so and - how?

Thank You for answering

Yes you can.
First, create the subdomain in cPanel, and it will ask you to select in which folder that subdomain will be "set-up"...

After doing this, move all Joomla files to your subdirectory in which the subdomain has been set-up.
The files that you don't have to move are:
_private
_vti... (All the ones that have vti_something)
cgi-bin
_vti_inf.html
postinfo.html

After moving all Joomla files, you'll have Joomla working in your subdomain. You may need to update the CMS URL from Joomla Admin Panel.

Thank you very much for these informations, I've done as you said, but here comes a problems ...
- I put all the files and directories into public_html/zavod (as the subdomain is named zavod.prva.x10hosting.com ...) and the page shows like always, but I cannot log myself in. If I try, it shows me being logged in, but nothing changes ... Then I use the standard adress (prva.x10hosting.com) and the site tells me I'm realy logged in. Woah.

What should I do?

you can try backingup your database and reinstalling joomla and any modules you had installed in it into the subdomain's folder and then just adding back in the database witht he correct information. Although this is a complicated way to do thing. There's is probably a simpler way of doing things. It might be a problem joomla is having with working out where it belongs now that it's changed locations.

That is a problem, I think. So anybody knows what should I do to solve it? Do I have to delete the previous files from old directory?

You should delete the old files, and then go into your database with PHPMyAdmin and fine any values that had your old address and change them to the new one, also check the config file to see if the old address is in there.
