Tip: Or if you have phpBB Plus you can goto styles-->banner and add your banner that way.

No, Ads have to be towards the top of the page.

You find your overall_header.tpl inside your template folder, you then edit the part (top bit) where you want your add to go using simple html & php coding.

Little knowledge of HTML is enough for it. Open the file (overall_header.tpl) in any text editor and edit, copy and paste the code with care between <table> tags. Thats all!

I just replaced the "site title" with the add code.

It depends on what plan you are in. If you are under x10 advanced plan, then follow funindia's. If it is corporate plan, just paste the code before <br /> at the bottom. It would look nicer.

Edit : remember to <center> it.
