how to rectify this?

hello when i added some .html file under the www directory but im not able to see on my site home page when i access it?and also i m not able to remove the x10hosting ads on my site,im using static ,even though i can't remove. actually i don't know where to remove?

First, what do you mean you can't see it? Is it on a CMS? Second, what CMS is it?

i can't see it mean..when i upload the html i am not able to see that when i browse my site.i uploaded in /www in cpanel.and mine is static kind of site not advanced or corporate.even thoughi cant remove the ads of x10hostings banner ads

see inthat u can see ads it is uploaded by me. in that there is a ad.html file. when i click that it is telling u don't have permission. i want it to be visible to every one. every guests wht to do?
