How to take off a password when you put it on a folder?

I was making the index.html files and I added a password protect to make it secure and stuff so after I was done with the site I want to take it off but I cant figure out how. Can someone help me ASAP???????????

If it's what I think you've done, then you should either be able to use cPanel to modify the password protection settings, or alternatively there is a file called ".htaccess" in the directory with a section that contains a line like "AuthType Basic" for the file you have passworded.
