.htaccess druapl install problems

Trying to install Drupal using Fantastico. It's telling me to delete the .htaccess files. When I use the file search option in CPanel it can find the files. The problem is, I can't see them. Any ideas?

Make sure you enable the viewing of hidden files (dot files)
You are given the option on the window that shows up when you open the file manager.
