.htaccess Problem

I've been trying to use mod_rewrite on one of my pages but i've noticed it doesn't work. I was just wondering if it is not allowed of if something else needs to be changed. Here is the code i am currently trying:

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on

RewriteRule setup-(.*)\.html detailed.php?id=$1

We do allow mod_rewrite. I'm a bit rusty on it though so I'm not exactly sure what is wrong with the line.
