where can i edit the html of my web site is it the public_html folder or the www folder ??? both have the same files so where should i edit ????

You should be looking for this file in the location....

home/yourname/public_html/index.php or index.html


To edit the html look for the files mentioned above,... index.php or index.html
Edit:
If your root folder doesn't have either then you need to create a file and call it index.html in your public_html folder.

yes.just. And the same thing also for the index.php

/www/ and /public_html/ are the same, I think /www/ is a symlink for /public_html/

/www/ is a kind of shortcut or link to /public_html/

They're both the same.
