I can't find where i have located my password

sorry to open a new thread but i really could not find the password.

i went to "Security" then "password protect directories" then "web root (public_html/www)" then "/ public_html / (Current Folder) "
and Authorized Users: is empty.

so i carry on i went back home and then

"Security" then "password protect directories" then "Document Root for:hanselandgretel.x10hosting.com" then "/ public_html / (Current Folder) "

the Authorized Users: is still empty.

It possibly depends where you are looking.

If you've lost your password, just rename the .htaccess file in the approrpriate directory.
