I can't select the database!

The title of my tread is a message that apear whene i instaled a new database for my script, whish work without errors with no local Server.

So if Hostname of database is:
> Localhost my script show "I can't select the database!"
> sql.example.com my script work fine without error.

The problème is x10hosting use localhost server.

Please help me find the solution for the script to work with localhost.

Did you try this with a lower case 'l' like, localhost? I'm not sure if it will work if the L is a capital letter.
