Since I use x10hosting DNS for my domain name, some of my friends have complained about the fact that some emails they sent me have returned.

I realized that it seems to be the ASSP's fault. I don't want it as emails from my domain name are only redirected to my gmail email account.

how can I fix that? I can't disable the ASSP in the cpanel.

Why don't you add your friends to the whitelist? They won't be blocked at all then.

That's a waste of time! I put my email on some website to be contacted. So I don't always know the people who write to me!
And I don't want to check everyday if some emails were blocked..

Setup up a google app for you domain, edit the MX record, and voila.

I have used google apps and it is very easy and has a lot of features. You're right about not being able to turn off ASSP, I can't find any way to really modify it, except for checking the junk mail logs daily and adding exceptions.

Google Apps doesn't seem to be free.

I don't really get why those messages are detected as spam...

Thank you. It starts to be complicated (domain name registrar that uses hosting provider's dns that uses MX server from a third company...)

Only because I can disable the antispam filter (which uses x10hosting's resources for nothing in my case...)

It does get kinda messy if you start thinking about it :p

I've been messing with ASSP and I haven't found another way to make this work for you.
