i lost all of my email accounts

I dont know what happened but all of my email accounts are gone and it says that i have none available to create

Did you remove the mail folder on your account?

Not sure. I'm unable to tell if the mail folder is really deleted and if so, I'm not sure what permissions it would take and what are the other things that are supposed to be in that folder.
