I need a little bit of help

Hello,

I'm new here and you can call me Dalt or Dalt584. I recently made a account. I selected the adfree Hosting Package. So, I'm a little confused on these Ad codes things. I know HTML really well. However I'm not sure if I'm suppose to add these codes, and where.

I'm also not sure how to get started, like to start adding my banner and what I want my site to say. I looked at a few other threads, and I just cant make out with them, so maybe asking my self will help.

Also, I noticed that I could make my own domain, so I did. However it doesn't look like it has changed. Do I need to refresh something or does the server need to refresh?

The adfree hosting plan does not have ads.

You need to set the nameservers on your domain to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com
After you do that wait for a few hours and the domain will work.

So what your saying is that I don't have to do anything with ad codes at all?

And, How can I change the nameservers?

You don't have to worry about any ad codes.

Where did you purchase your domain?

I never purchest one, It just said "Check here to use own domain" or something simular. However about 3 months ago I did buy this domain with another hosting site and canceld.

EDIT: Also, How can I get CP addons? This Appeard: "Your admin has not created a cPAddons configuration yet. Please contact them and ask them to do so." How can I contact them?

The domain is still registered.
You are going to have to ask your old hosting provider to cancel the domain and then you register it or have them transfer it to you.

cPAddons have been disabled. The stuff in there is old. Use Fantastico instead.

The Domain has been canceld. And It said it was avalible, so everything is ok.

So will I be able to use it soon?

First you need to purchase it somewhere.
Then you will be able to use it.

Change your domain back to a subdomain until you get the domain.
Then you will be able to access your site.

Oh I thought I could make my own domain for free? Where can I buy this domain?

google domain registration to see about buying one and compare the prices. Some places offer better deals, You just need registration, and not a hosting/registration combo.

Nameservers should set to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com, Once they are changed, login to

www.x10hosting.com/login and find the "Account Details" section, check the box to use your own domain and enter it there. Or,

you can "Park" it in the cPanel section of your website to keep your existing domain as your main one.

Ok your sure right? Because I went to www.x10hosting.com/login and it said my main domain was the one I typed in, no the one at myname.x10hosting.com

It is the one you typed in. myname.x10hosting.com was just my example. Once you register one, you'll change it to your new domain name.
