i need help with ftp

i just started this and i need to know what the ftp adress is:dunno:

domain can be x10hosting.com, elementfx.com, pcriot.com, exofire.net

For e.g. I signed up with kaixi as username and elementfx.com as domain so my ftp account is ftp.kaixi.elementfx.com

Your "FTP" address is for example "domainname.x10hosting.com"

You may have to use the prefix "FTP" when required.

"FTP" means "File Transfer Protocal", which in simple terms is how you get your files onto your web site.

You can use a programme, such as "CuteFTP Pro" which will provide you with a very easy to use UI (user interface, i.e the buttons you press).

When you enter your information into this type of software, you will need your "Username" and "Password" for the "FTP" account.

There maybe other options, but "Generally" these settings can remain as default.

"FTP" accounts can be created from your "CPanel".

Just follow the instructions provided above, but replace the sub-domain with your domain name instead.
