I recently got an e-mail saying that x10 has frozen new sign-ups

The e-Mail I recieved said:
x10 has once again frozen new signups temporarily. We will be getting a new server to help handle the load of how many signups we get daily. The new server should be online and functional the first half of November. We're also going to be moving datacenters within the next few weeks.
The question I want to ask is this: Will this freezing effect accounts that are currently being created and/or validated by admins? Because even though I've already signed up for my account it has yet to be created (I read somewhere it takes about two weeks).

it may take up to 2 weeks, depending on the number of new signups and the number of hours a Account Manager is avaliable, but do not run away, this is the best hosting i have ever found, so if you just wait it out, you will be 100% satisfied ;)

Nah, it wasn't the 2-week wait I was asking about so much, I don't care too much about that. I was wondering if my account request (I suppose you could call it that) was going to get frozen, or if that only applies to accounts that were made after that was implemented.

hmm, i'm not sure about that, maybe you could PM Corey (the main administrator) or Bryon (another admin) about that, cuz i have no idea :dunno:

Yes, as of right now, and about a week ago, all new accounts are being processed manually. So all new accounts that have yet to be proccessed have to wait until Corey is able to manually do it

Don't quote me on this or say its "Fact" ... but I believe things will be on hold until the issues with the Data Centre are resolved ( I.E. - Moving to a new DC / Server cluster )
