i want to have my custom domain pointing to my x10host page

hello x10hosting community
i have read post after post on this forum and goggled for hours but i don't seem to grasp what i am doing wrong.
i have a custom domain 'therubyset.com'
i have set the nameservers on the domain name provider's page to
ns1.x10hosting.com (198.91.80.2)
ns2.x10hosting.com (108.178.57.230)
on my x10host account i have gone to the 'Domains' tab i have clicked on 'manage redirection' an redirected 'therubyset.com' to 'chaseplane.x10host.com'
then hit the 'update redirection' button.
on returning i see that my custom domain is parked and redirected to chaseplane.x10host.com
but when i visit my custom domain it shows...

Not Found
The requested URL /home/chasepla/public_html/chaseplane.x10host.com/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Hi chasepla,

Assuming you want your custom domain to display the same as your main domain, you don't need to specify a "Redirection".

I went ahead and removed the redirection on your custom domain, and I'm now seeing your site fine.
