I just got around to doing a complete reinstall of my ib3 boards. My boards still won't work.

Ikonboard CGI Error
Ikonboard has exited with the following error:

List::Util object version 1.14 does not match bootstrap parameter 1.19

This error was reported at: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.7/i686-linux/XSLoader.pm line 92, line 64.

Please note that your 'real' paths have been removed to protect your information.

When I reinstalled everything, all seemed well except for missing the Image::Magick module.

You can look for yourself at http://thp.x10hosting.com/cgi-bin/ib3/ikonboard.cgi.

I'm not sure what's wrong, but I'm sure you guys will figure it out when you can. Thanks in advance!

Yea. I was using phpbb before. It's still installed and working though. I just haven't deleted it because I wanted to get ib3 working before I did that. :) I also used Yabb a long time ago and it worked. Yabb was before I was moved to the sustained server. ib3 did work on the Free server that I was on beforing moving to the sustained server. When I was moved, the forum stopped working. I already reported this once but an admin said they had the latest version of the module in question. So that's why I did a reinstall hoping it may fix it. But the issue still remains after reinstalling the forum. Another thing to note is that ib3 is written in Perl, if you didn't already know. I like it because it has more features than other forum software has "out-of-the-box". So I'm hoping I can still use ib3 on your server.

Hi,

I checked the versions of that again and it says we are running 1.19; It must be getting the information from somewhere that it is still 1.14 but I am not sure where. If you want to do check online and see if you can find a solution I'll be happy to try it. Otherwise it might have to wait a week or two while we finish up some things for x10.

In summary

You have multiple versions of List::Util installed, 1.14 and 1.18.

> List::Util is up to date (1.18).

I think you will want to delete all List::Util related files, and then
reinstall. Basically List::Util is an XS module, and you have one
version of perl and one of the compiled XS.

Not sure if this will help or not.

I'm using another forum for the time being. Since my site is in php and the things that I want to do to integrate forums and my site together, it's better for now to use a php forum software. I still have the ib3 forums up though that way if you need a way to check to see if any fixes work it will be there.
Thanks for the speedy reply btw. I wasn't really expecting it due to the update going on. :)
