The path to the images was wrong. Probably a configuration setting in the bowels of VBulletin was set incorrectly. I think the staff changed some things and forgot to update this setting.

It's nice to have the icons back instead of having their textual representations. It's odd having the word "question" in front of your topic post when you wanted an image.

yeah, I had assumed the problem was with my adblocker. I guess not.

For whatever reason, FF3 was not showing broken link images, just the alt content. I thought nothing was wrong for a while lol
