I just figured I would take a moment to say hello.
I am a 27 year old amateur developer in several fields. Currently my project list consists of a few web sites, a free to play mmorpg (we are looking at selling the hosting rights now, may launch through the host by the end of the year w00t!), several remote database administration jobs and a few others...
I have been self taught in everything thus far, however, I have been seeking a chance to get some formal training and education under my belt as of late. Knowledge is not good enough in this day and age is you dont have the piece of paper that verifies it
Anyway, I came here from a paid host, in hopes of finding greener pastures. So far, this has been great, other than the current network issue with the free hosting server. My last host and I fell out after 11 months of paid service when we underwent over 6 days of down time without ever getting a single notification as to what was going on or how long the downtime was expected to last.
Had I known I could find a free host with 6X the amount of auto-install apps/scripts as my paid host---Well, I would have been checking x10 out a lot sooner :biggrin:
This is a huge highlight for me. The more I see, the more I am considering moving to a paid hosting package with x10. Great job thus far guys/gals.
