Ok, hello everyone.

I have asked this question before but i did not enter enough detail i think so i am re opening it.

I am running a video based website where you can watch every episode of "The simpsons" and "South park" and watch online movies.

All or most of the content will be copyrighted material, but it is 100% legal to embed the material and not host it. Only the uploader and the hoster are liable for that material.

So is this ok with x10? I will have competitors who will no doubt email a complaint to x10 and idiots who don't what 1+1 equals will no doubt do the same, but will x10 stand their ground or will they simply drop to their knees and ban me.

And if so, when they ban me, will they give me enough time to find a new host or will they simply just ban me completly and not even let me access my hosting to download it off of them and onto a new host?

Generally speaking, at least in the case of Warez, if you link to it, you're responsible. I'm not sure that covers embedded videos, so I'd hang tight for a second opinion on that one.

That said, if it does come down to a Copyright Infringement suspension, it'd be zero-tolerance no opportunity to recover files or regain access to the account. Thats why I'd hang on for a second opinion on whether or not it's actually okay (preferably from staff).
