images not changing after update

Hello everyone.

Im having a bit of a problem with images on my site.

Im using asp.net and the images are placed in an imagemap object.

I uploaded them first time around and everything worked fine. Then I changed them and they were updated normally.

But now i changed them again and they didnt change on my browser. I asked a friend to go to my website and check it out and when he went there they were updated.

I cleared the browsing history and the cache but to no avail. When i view the image its the new one (in the public_html thingy) but when i open the site its the old one.

The issue persists on firefox and internet explorer.

Any help is greatly appreciated because im totally lost.

This sounds like it is definitely a caching problem somewhere along the line; are you trying to access the site from within a company or education network, as they sometimes use proxies that cache things on a network wide level for faster access? If this is the case, I assume it will be flushed from the cache at some point and you can try again.
