I apologise if there is already a thread about this - I have tried the search function but nothing immediate springs up.

I recently purchased a domain, evilpig.co.uk, which I have configured to point to my space at x10Hosting. It is clearly working, because the html files are loading OK, but the images won't load. If you go directly to my space, at blackhat.exofire.net, they load fine.

I've tried both the parked domain and addon domain functions from the cPanel, but without luck. I think I could get around the problem by changing my code to point directly to the URIs (e.g. changing header_home.png to http://blackhat.exofire.net/header_home.png), but that's quite a hassle.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know what is the problem. Do you restrict access to your images through your .htaccess file ?

I had edited the .htaccess file, but I made a backup of the old one and I've reverted to that, with no luck.

Is there a way to reset the file in case I've changed or corrupted it somehow?

Edit: I tried completely wiping the .htaccess file, and it worked. I don't think this is a good way to leave it though - can someone give me the default info for me to paste back in?

You don't need an .htaccess file if you're not using any features in it like Authorization, Mod_rewrite, etc...
