Hello,

Firstly, I've read through a few pages of information and all the sticky threads but have yet to really find a solution to this seemingly simple issue.

I just joined and have an address of http://johnbeeby.x10Hosting.com but am having issues getting the index.html page I uploaded to show up. The welcome page that starts "Great Success - Apache is working on your cPanel..." is all that will show up.

I connected to the FTP just fine and have uploaded a simple text index.html file in the public_html folder. Not working.

I deleted the index.html file from the public_html folder and re-uploaded the index.html file I created, still the "Great Success.." welcoming page.

I've typed in the entire address of - http://johnbeeby.x10Hosting.com/index.html - and still the welcoming screen shows up.

Now I did apply for a DNS change from my current address to http://johnbeeby.co.cc and it said give 48 hours for the change, which is perfectly fine. But would or should that be effecting the x10Hosting address given to me? Would that be playing into this issue of the index.html file not showing?

Appreciate any help, thank you.
Edit:
I've also found out my server and checked the status. The server is up and working from what the graph says.

I've gone through the entire set of files provided with the account and removed all index.html... the same page still shows no matter what. I was assuming public_html is the correct folder to load into, but I must be missing something here.

I can't access your page at http://johnbeeby.x10Hosting.com.

Code:
[B]The requested URL could not be retrieved[/B]
But I can access at http://johnbeeby.co.cc. It says:

I guess your new domain is working fine. Maybe you should change the config so the x10 domain can work too.

Perhaps, this link can help you.

I did set up the DNS as suggested in your link, already before I posted this. The problem I'm now having seems to be that you can view this page and a member of the x10 Support Staff can view this page (johnbeeby.co.cc) but I cannot.

I've refreshed, forced and regular, emptied my cache, tried mozilla, IE7, Safari, Opera, and still cannot get the page to load anything but a status screen for my DNS request from co.cc. If its the 48 hour wait time that I'm up against at this point, well thats expected and no biggie. I just wasn't sure about the DNS.

Now it seems I cannot even access my cPanel but I'm not sure it has anything to do with this.

Anywho, I will wait it out and see. I appreciate the help. Thank you.
