Hello staff,

I am interested in installing a legend for my website forum to show the different levels for the membergroups. I have already downloaded the legend (as a folder containing the necessary files) but I have a problem with copying the legend files to the file manager. I would like to know in which folder I shall copy the files so that it will appear on the website (if I happen to click on 'file manager' in Cpanel for x10hosting).

Thanks a lot. Awaiting your kind reply.

You are using smf so goto admin section click on packages and then download packages and browse and give your legend mod.

then activate it.

By the way this is tutorial section, You have to post in appropriate section

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I am still a bit baffled however. At the moment I am in the x10hosting control panel but a little confused which icon to click so that I can copy the legend. So I need to click on 'file manager' and then find packages and paste everything there?

Thanks again and sorry for the questions.

I am talking about the admin section in your smf website.

Goto your website
login in as admin
goto admin section
click on packages
Click on download packages

In the Upload a Package section, Click on browse then select the legend mod (which can be a zip of tar.gz file) and click on upload.

once uploaded then click on activate it.

Thanks a lot that was just brilliant.

I ve done that and it worked and I got the Membergroup legend display arrangement section. However, it has got numbers in it. I would like to ask you what do these numbers correspond to and whether do I have to do something in order to show up as still the legend is invisible. Thanks.

EDITED:
Ok I just found out they correspond to the members group found on the url but still I don't get the legend. I don't know why.

You are using custom theme so you have to edit the index.template.php file to add the code.

The order of default legend is 1,2,8,7,6,5,4
