I run an online store and I have been using CubeCart and while I have been relatively happy with it, I have run into several limitations as it is not open source. I searched for some alternatives and have tried Zen Cart but it didn't exactly meet my needs. I have come across Magento Commerce and I am impressed with what their product has to offer. I downloaded Magento and uploaded it onto my site and the installation was going fine until I received the following error.
PHP Extension "pdo_mysql" must be loaded
Please set all required settings before clicking Continue
I currently have the intermediate PHP configuration. Will the advanced PHP configuration allow that php extension to be loaded so that I may finish the installation and begin using Magento?

I have applied for the advanced PHP configuration 2 days ago and it said I would get a reply within 24 hours and I have yet to hear anything...
