ok i have it downloaded and read the instructions. i dont realy know what to do so can someone that did t please explain exactly what i have to do. thanks

I would use fantastico ;) alot easier.

If you dont then just upload the mambo files to public_html then type in the install.php path in your browser and follow the steps.

yea like tyler said use cpanel when i was installing mambo i found it a bit on the confusing site but i was told my a friend that i could use fantastico to i used that and it was much more easier and less hassle to upload and all

I can help! i installed mambo 4.5.2.3

still need the help installing it urself? i'm here!

**unzip the archive (.zip file) to you desktop, open up ur FTP program then uplaod it to the public_html folder...**

Make the MySQL DB named: mambo1 or something liek that. then make a user (scroll down a bit) make a user : mambo1!...

then basically follow this tutorial @:Mech7.net

Yes, i know its version 4.5.1b ( the version in fantastico) but it oes the same way for 4.5.2.3

If you don't want to go into all of that, just use fantastico or the addon scripts page in cpanel! :grin:
