installing phpbb into a subdomain

I am stumbling trying to install phpbb into my subdomain. Anyone want to help me?

Just install it like normal except in the folder of the subdomain.

I have tried that. I keep getting can connect to data base. Scratching my head..lol

The only difference is the subdomain, and why not just install it like normal?
You could make it: http://<your domain here>/forum

That is where it is at, but it still give sme connection error.

You just have to create a sub-domain from your cPanel and install the phpBB in that sub-directory. Thats it, you're done.
