This tutorial is extremely noobish, but I am in some other forums where this needed to be explained, since I offer x10hosting as the best free hosting solution figured I would post it here to.

*Note - If you really need Part 2 PM, and I'll send you the link.

I noticed many people here do not have real portfolio's excluding myspace, this will walk you through setting up a free webhost, and installing wordpress with Fantastico.

This will walk you through setting up a hosting account, installing, and using using wordpress, please view every screenshot as they will guide you through the process. This will be a two part tutorial, this will walk you through set up, install, and basic usage, Part 2 will teach about themes, plugins, rss feeds, etc.

The screenshots I will be posting will have yellow highlights, they will serve as click guides.

I will be using x10hosting, it is the best free host I have ever seen, I've been with them for a while and had no problems. They do not place ad's on your pages, so you don't have to worry about that.

Step 1

Head over to x10hosting, and signup for an ad free account.

You are now logged into Cpanel, find Fantastico De Luxe in your icon list.

Please post any questions here, posting a new page, or post, is quite easy to figue out.
The next part will be here soon, and will cover design, installing new themes, editing themes, and installing and activating plugins.
Until then explore the features of wordpress.
