Which one is better? Intel or AMD

It all depends what motherboard. AMD and Intel have both made some excellent CPU's, and also have made some very rubbish ones.

I think amd is doing very well price wise, and intel seems to be doing a much better job with performance. They both are great brands I've used and bought both i use to prefer AMD but when i got my dual core i loved it. I think it would probably come down to personal preference and what will work with which components in the final decision but I prefer intel.
