interested in changing to paid

I am interested in changing to paid hosting but curious as to what we can run on the server or allowed to run. can we run other applications like team speak or ventrilo. I have a large guild of over 75 members and am looking for a new place to host i am trying your hosting to see if it will handle my needs.

I would have to say, on the TS and apps like that, probably not.
Although, there is discussion going on about starting up a x10 gaming server, that may have TeamSpeak.

ok set aside it is possible to run apps on the same server if permissions are set but is or would that be allowed. and how near are ts servers looking at being implemented? I have 3 mo left on the current hosting I am at now and cant see paying for hosting and a ts server.

The applications would have to go through Corey. He's the one who really decides what can or will run on the paid servers. ( I will direct him to this thread when he is available )

No you wouldn't be able to run a TS server from your hosting account. We generally restrict hosting accounts to websites only although we do allow most stat programs and such for people to use. What other apps were you thinking about running?

Regarding the game servers, we're looking at adding some to x10 but the details have not been fully worked out yet. I want to make sure there will be enough interest in them before we spend any money.
