internal server misconfiguration

Hi all,

I've upload my website files to my host but I have the following message :

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Someone can help me or tell me if there is something to do ?

You files should all have permissions set to 0644. 0666 or 0777 will cause the 500 errors.
Directories/Folders should be 0755

Also, .htaccess files that conflict with the current system configuration will cause 500 errors (post your .htaccess here is you want opinions as to if that is the cause and solutions).

I've tried your solution but it doesn't work.

To be sure, I've set all files and folders on 0777 ... problem persist
I've tried also the automatic installation from Cpanel ... same problem
I've removed the .htaccess ... problem persist

I don't know what can I do :frown:

But descalzo told you that 777 would cause the 500 error. So I'll repeat his information here:

Files- 644
Folders- 755

Please try that instead.
