I had this error too yesterday but I was able to solve it. I didn't notice that I had a VPN software turned on because I visited some well-known social network before. When I disabled the VPN software, the error message didn't pop up but instead another error...
That being said, the error you mentioned is probably caused by using a VPN service.
I'm pretty sure this applies here too. :)

Hi team,

I'm needing help, I'm getting the "Your Internet connection has been blocked due to frequent abuse"
As I am reading this is due to the use of VPN Software or Public Networks, the truth is that I'm trying to access from Home, but I have used my Work Computer (which requires me to use VPN Software and/or Proxy assigned by group policy bu the company IT team)

I rebooted my modem and flushed DNS on the PC to see if that helped and it didn't,

I'm really needing to go into my panel and work on my projects, can someone help?

If you're accessing via a VPN, you're not accessing "from home". All a DNS flush/modem reboot will do is change what your machine looks like to the VPN, but the VPN still looks the same to the servers here, and its the VPN that's accessing the servers, not your machine. There's nothing you can do on your end at all (other than to use a different machine), and there may be nothing that can be done at this end without opening things up to abuse (depends on the VPN, it's size and visible IP range, and so on -- if your company is outsourcing that part, there's no telling how much of the world is using the same "private" network or proxy and what the users are allowed to do).

Hi Essellar, thank you for your response, I understand and agree with everything you say, I mentioned all that to inform of the possibilities of why my network or IP or computer was tagged as "abusive to the internet" but the truth is that I'm attempting to log in my Home, with my personal Home computer (no vpn or proxy) and also with my work computer at home without any active vpn and I'm still getting the same message.

Let's say, if I create a new x10 account, would I continue to get the same message, is this message related to the actual condition of the computer or network or to behaviors (vpn/proxy) that my computer or network have engaged on the past?

Thanks for the support!

Not 100% sure if this helps but: As far as I'm aware, you can have only 1 account per IP.

Hi Essellar or anyone else, is this something that can be fixed?
I'm not accessing or planing to access my x10 account from any VPN or proxy. I'm using my personal home computer that uses no VPN or proxy and I'm getting the same messages.

Please indicate if this can be fixed
