If you want to host a forum or portal there are many alternative free solutions that are just as good.

lolz, the TRIAL is available free at the site, if you are looking for a full version, there IS a way to get the copyright off, but it is not allowed on some hosts, i suggest using SMF, similar board styles and admin style

No. They took out 1.2 and 1.3 from Fantastico because IPB did not want it there. Also no you still have to pay $100 for 2.0.

Points are just little things you get by posting and doing stuff for others (they donate to you if you do something for them). See the "Shop" Button in the upper right hand corner of the screen? If you go there, you can purchase things with your points! ^__^

Oh, and I'm willing to give up.. let's say, 7 points for IPB 2.04
I'll even throw in a free signature- I'm feeling awfully generous today =P
