One of the scripts i'm using for my website is a need of "Ion Cube" support, or else I get this error.

The file /home/sypher/public_html/index.php has been encoded with the ionCube PHP Encoder and requires the free ioncube_loader_lin_5.1.so ionCube PHP Loader to be installed.

http://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php

I don't think it'll use alot of server resources but infact will help probably some PHP sites, imo.

I hope this isn't a problem or something but it has to be installed into the server I believe.

What script are you all using that requires this feature? What exactly does Ion Cube do?

Correctomondo. We and swirly are testing a script that needs this. The script is based familiar to known as "MySpace". I'm currently want to test this so I can edit it since it's open source, meaning free.

The script can also be used for a community site, not just like MySpace. You can put flash animations on it. If you want the link here you go, there's a demo link in the site.

http://www.phpizabi.net/

If we had access to PHP.INI maybe we could have meet it's requirements but however, it's not for user access . =/

Here's the requirements that we need thats also on the site:

- Server must be able to dynamically load ioncube loaders libraries at runtime OR have a permanent ioncube decryption loader OR let you edit (or create a user-based) php.ini file.

- ionCUBE decoder keys for your operating system (most keys are included with PHPizabi)
