I read some older posts and figured out that I have been Ip blocked due to failed cpanel logins.

And on that matter: I can use all the cpanel features, but when I try to access the email accounts area it brings me to the cpanel login form. But when I enter my info it doesn't work. I even had the info saved from my previous login, but it still says incorrect information.

I'm really sorry that I made so many attempts, it was just making me really mad.

I can give you my Ip address if you are able to unblock me.

Thanks in advance.

Hello xbryce,

I've unblocked your IP address. You were blocked for 20 login attempts in just 5 minutes.

As per your issue with the email accounts, have you tried clearing your internet cookies?

Thank you

Clearing my cookies was one of the first things that I thought of.
But none of my username passwords that I could think of worked
for the actual cpanel login.

But when I go to cpanel through the x10.mx portal it works fine.
Is there a way I can just reset my actual cpanel login?
I don't want to get locked out again.

Thank you very much for your help.

cPanel login should be the exact same thing as you have for your account portal.

As for resetting the cPanel login, changing password in your account panel would change it for cPanel as well as account portal and forum.

Please also not that in the case of logging into view emails, you would need to use the full email as username and the password you set when you created that email address.

I assume you are using URL [ https://yourservername.x10hosting.com:2083 ] to log into cPanel

Try these steps to regain access to your cPanel - it works some of the time but not all the time

1. Reset(same as it was) or change your password in the Account Portal (AP) --> https://x10hosting.com/portal/login.php
2. Wait for it to say that the change took effect
3. This is important log out of the Account Portal (AP) and log back into it
4. Wait two (2) minutes while logged in - it takes time to update all the servers in the cluster - before using the blue [ Access cPanel ] button or logging out

This will set or reset - your cPanel and account's FTP and Account Portal (AP) and Forum login passwords to be the same
