IP deny manager - cannot remove wrongly added ip - Resolved

I've got various ip's added in the cpanel ip deny manager due to the ip's posting rubbish on my site.

However, it appears I highlighted too much when I entered one ip and it was entered as 127.*.*.*deny (that's not the start of the ip obviously), and now I cannot remove it.

When I click the x to remove it and click yes, it says it's been removed, but then goes back to the list with the entry still there.

I'm not posting the ip for obvious reasons, but I can pm it to a member of staff if needed so that it can be removed.

Clear your browser cache and cookies and try again.
If not, try another web browser.

Thanks for the suggestions, but it looks like a server issue. I've tried clearing my cookies and cache, and also tried from another computer running a different os, but again, despite it saying it's been removed, it's still there when I refresh the page.

Edit: I have now been able to remove the entry after reading other posts and realizing the ip deny manager is nothing more than a front end for the .htaccess file. I have now removed the incorrect entry from it before saving it, and it no longer shows up in the ip deny section of cpanel.
