Are IRC perl scripts (like IRC bots) allowed on x10?

Both of those say that you cannot use the site for hosting bots. However, I am going to run a site and I want an IRC Log Bot.

So, you know that bots are against the rules, but are going to use one anyways? That makes no sense.

I didn't say I was. I was asking. The quotes posted said that you cannot run a site to host bots, but I found them to be rather vague. I simply asked if you could run a bot if you were also hosting an actual site? I am not going to do anything without it being approved. With that said, can I?
